This time it’s not about Quido. It’s about Lily and kids like her. Kids who love to learn new things and spend time with their friends. Kids who want to go to school, just like all their peers. But they can’t. Why can’t they, you ask? Because majority of schools (at least in the Czech Republic) have stairs and no lifts. This completely puts regular education off-limits for these kids and isolates those who need wheelchairs outside our society, and the lives of their families are dramatically affected. And that’s not acceptable. Please let me introduce a Mum of a girl that’s just like Quido’s Lily. She refused to accept that her daughter, and all other children in wheelchairs, are denied a regular education. So she started a project #vytahydoskol to bring awareness to the problem and to raise funds for a school lift that will serve all. She has been nominated together with a group of other fantastic women for the title Woman of the Year 2025 in the category Strength: Jindra Landova.
