RELICT

Dartmoor delivers again!
Summer sunlight breaching the dense canopy, the soft glow of the moss, clinging to the oak trunks and a delicate Rowan tree, clinging on for survival, nestled amongst its mighty companions.
It’s a shame that the Rowan wasn’t resplendent with berries - just a few in the top right corner - but hardly surprising, considering how little light penetrates through.

IMMEMORIAL

It’s tree portrait time again and this old chap is quite a mighty specimen! Taken last week on a little scouting trip to a new (to me) location.
This place has loads of potential for when the season changes and the autumn fog draws in, but even without perfect conditions, there are some lovely images to be found.
