It is no secret that books and catalogues are our favourite format and we are thrilled to see ilhas’ library continuing to grow.
We are super proud to be part of the process from page one, crafting objects that feel purposeful and special.

We’re starting the year by looking back at 2025!
One of the standout moments for ilhas studio was “Haverá Eleições” (There Will Be Elections), a project celebrating democracy and marking the 50th anniversary of Portugal’s first free elections.
The studio designed and produced the exhibition, which brings together an extensive range of audiovisual material, photographs, press coverage from the period, and archival documents. These elements portray the intense time experienced before, during, and after the elections of April 25, 1975.
“Haverá Eleições” was curated by our own art director Catarina Vasconcelos and Pedro Magalhães First presented in Lisbon at the exhibition is now on view in Coimbra until February 22 at . Don’t miss it ✊
