Today, after many months of absence, we are back to share more thoughts, ideas and stories.

These next weeks we will dive into anime culture with some topics related to friendship, dialogue, peace building, polarization, etc.

For now, we leave you with a reflection about one of my favorite friendships in anime: Gon and Killua's in Hunter x Hunter. Based of course, in the our great old friend Epicurus.

Since the start of this month and specially the 8th of March, we wanted to post something regarding the International Women's Day and the importance of feminism in the struggle towards gender equality.

We couldn't decide on a single explanation or way to describe the movement, theory and struggle behind this day.

That's what we decided to give the voice to some of our favorite women: Maya Angelou, Gloria Steinem, Audre Lorde, Roxane Gay, Comandanta Ramona, Laura Bates, Anna Sandoval, Marry Wollstonecraft and an anonymous quote written in Arabic.

Believing that there is not only one type of feminism, what does feminism mean to you?

Comment, share and join the conversation!

After some weeks of inactivity due to work and rest, we are back starting this year introducing one of our favorite terms and actions: Self-compassion.

These past weeks I decided to start Attack on Titan again. The first time I didn't get hooked and I wanted to give it a second try.

And wow, it didn't let me down; the complexity, the story, characters and ethical dilemmas. If you haven't watched it give it a try, it will be worth it.

For now, we leave a quote from Ymir, a woman that inspired Historia to take decisions for herself, stop people pleasing and choose her own path.

It seems that the world has become more polarized. We can see it in recent really tight election results and in our daily conversations. Sometimes we even censor ourselves with a group of people or prefer not to give our opinion to avoid a fight. In the end, conversation and dialogue seem to be the ones we are loosing.

With this quote by Sirius Black we want to raise awareness about the complexity of human kind and the huge shades of gray we all have. Perceiving ourselves as the good ones and others as bad will never get us anywhere.

Let's tap into kindness and curiosity. We can learn from both our shadow and light.
