We’re pleased to share an update on this ongoing residential project in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, proudly supported by Caribbean ICF Solutions.

Following the successful concrete pour of the foundations, the contractor’s team has completed the proper installation of the ICF walls and roof for the garage, as well as the ICF walls and Quad-Deck roof on the west side of the first floor.

At this stage, the team has also completed the installation and concrete pour of the ICF pool walls and the remaining ICF walls on the first floor. They are currently working on the installation of the second-floor ICF slab and the first-floor roof overhang.

Throughout this process, our project management team has been closely monitoring progress and adjusting the project schedule as needed. Meanwhile, our field engineer and technical specialists continue to perform on-site inspections and provide expert guidance as needed to ensure the proper implementation of both the Quad-Lock ICF System and Helix Micro-Rebar technology.

Project Update – Caribbean ICF Solutions in Tortola, BVI

This is an update on the ongoing project supported by Caribbean ICF Solutions in Tortola, BVI.

Following the successful installation and concrete pours of the ICF walls and Quad-Deck roof on the first floor using Helix micro-rebar, the contractor’s team has now completed both the installation and concrete pours for the ICF walls and Quad-Deck roof (reinforced with Helix) on the second level and third-level terrace. This included the monolithic concrete parapets of the ICF top roof slab. The ICF installation for all Quad-Lock walls, Quad-Deck floors and roof, including the top roof concrete parapets, was originally scheduled for completion in 3.14 months or 68 working days. The contractor successfully completed all tasks in just 2.72 months or 59 working days—9 working days ahead of schedule. The contractor demonstrated exceptional planning and consistently remained ahead of schedule throughout all ICF construction activities on the project.

The estimated timeframe for completing these activities using traditional concrete methods was 14.05 months. By utilizing the Quad-Lock ICF Building System (walls, floor, and roof), the contractor completed the described construction 11.33 months faster. This highlights the significant value and benefit of using the Quad-Lock ICF Building System, combined with our company’s engineering, scheduling, project management, and installation support. Projects can be completed in substantially less time, resulting in direct savings and increased profits for developers and project owners.

The next phase of the project will be the application of the CICFS ICF Finishing Solution, which will incorporate our proprietary ICF Bonding Agent and Sider-Crete ICF finishing materials. The project continues to progress in line with the previously established schedule.

Our engineering and technical staff continue to conduct regular virtual inspections and provide expert guidance on the Quad-Lock ICF System, Helix Micro-Rebar solutions, and structural engineering requirements to ensure a smooth and high-quality installation. Meanwhile, our project management team is actively monitoring the project's progress and making any necessary schedule adjustments.

To support a smooth and efficient installation, our Installation Support Team visited the site to train the crew and offer hands-on assistance.
