Stop scrolling and take a beat to see the fun side of animal rescue — fostering! 💕

Chanel was found pregnant on a feeding route in Peñuelas, PR. Now she’s on a well-earned mom getaway from her 10 puppies, getting the full TLC princess treatment she deserves. 👑

Rescue can be heavy, but fostering creates some of the sweetest moments we’ve witnessed. 💕

BIG thanks to our foster families who’ve saved so many lives. If you can foster, we’d love to have you! 🫶🏻

Update: He’s Safe 🤍❄️

Thanks to your support, this sweet boy is now safe and under the care of our main vet at Paseos Veterinary Center, where he is undergoing all routine tests.
What you see in the middle of his mouth is actually his colmillo, which was displaced due to the tumor. We know it looks alarming, but he is finally where he needs to be to get the care he deserves.
We’ve named him Nieve ❄️
As we move forward with his diagnostics and treatment plan, donations are now welcome and deeply appreciated to help us cover his medical care:

HELP!! THIS SCARED PUPPY NEEDS A FOSTER IN THE CT or MA AREA ASAP!! We’re praying for a miracle for this girl. Britni arrived from Puerto Rico two weeks ago and can’t adjust to life in NYC. Our PR partner wants to take her back into their care and manage her progress with their New England volunteers. This puppy spent her first 7 days hiding in a crate or underneath a bed, and we got over that hump, but she is still really nervous around humans and absolutely cannot tolerate being outside. For a puppy her age (just over 4 months), this is very unusual, and we can’t keep her suffering here. She does really well with other dogs and should have one in the home to show her the ropes. In the last 48 hours we’ve seen more of her puppy side with loose body wiggles, but she does not want to be touched by humans and still won’t get near the front door. She’s great about using wee pads though and is pretty respectful of the house — she’s a good girl underneath her very scared and confused exterior. With a yard, another dog, and really patient humans in the suburbs, she could thrive. This 26 lb husky mix puppy needs people who will accept her as she is, let her do things on her own time, and respect her space while she’s getting used to new things. PLEASE give this puppy the chance to be a real puppy. Pickup is ASAP in the CT or MA area (details to be coordinated), if you can give this freaked out girl a chance please email foster@socialteesnyc.org. 26/04/2026

🚨 VERY URGENT FOSTER OR ADOPTER NEEDED 🚨

Meet Britany 🤍🐾

Britany is Bali’s sister - around 5 months old, a Husky/Lab mix - but she is much more scared and shut down.

Both girls have just come through a long, stressful transport and are extremely overwhelmed. Right now, they need a calm, PATIENT environment where they can decompress and learn that they are safe!

Britany is especially fearful and will need time, patience, and a quiet home to come out of her shell. ❤️

🚨Without IMMEDIATE foster placement, they will be sent back to Puerto Rico and placed in a shelter where their chances of survival are very low🚨

What they need MOST is simple: safety, patience, and time.

🤍 These girls are not broken - they are just scared and exhausted from everything they’ve been through! 😭

If you can FOSTER, ADOPT, or HELP in any way, please reach out ASAP:

We will help with transport from NY to MA.

Every SHARE could save a life!!! ❤️
