🚑 This week in our VR safety series, we focus on a life-saving skill that is vital in high-pressure public environments - Basic Life Support (BLS) and the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
In crowded places like a subway station, a sudden cardiac arrest requires immediate action. Every second counts, yet many bystanders hesitate due to a lack of confidence or fear of making a mistake.
𝐁𝐋𝐒 & 𝐀𝐄𝐃 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐮𝐛𝐰𝐚𝐲 𝐕𝐑 training immerses users in a high-stakes scenario where they must assess the victim, call for help, and follow the correct reanimation protocol. VR allows users to practice placing AED electrodes and maintaining the correct rhythm of chest compressions in a realistic, stressful environment - without the real-world risk.
By transforming theoretical knowledge into muscle memory, VR helps overcome the "spectator effect" and empowers people to act decisively when a life is on the line.
