My client is looking for a Senior NodeJS Developer to join a large scale news and social aggregation platform.
Peakmetrics helps increase communication, transparency and awareness throughout organisations using real-time feedback collection and sentiment analysis.
You will be building tools for monitoring and analyzing the online media presence of my client customers. Projects include unsupervised machine learning analyses on unstructured media documents, improvements on the PeakM Dashboard, database maintenance, and Covid-19 response. Technologies used include ReactJS, NodeJS, Python, PostgreSQL, and AWS.

Ideal candidate has:

-Experience with applications of machine learning and/or natural language processing applied to web pages or test documents
-Experience with large scale web crawlers and/or automated systems for web scraping and/or automated testing solutions for web technologies (Chrome puppeteer for web technologies, PhantomJS) and experience in running such technologies in a cloud environment (even better if in Kubernetes based claud environment)
-Experience with NLP libraries/tools e.g., spaCy, Core NLP, NLTK, BERT
-Familiarity with AWS stack, particularly AWS Lambda and SAS
-Strong knowledge of Elastic search + PostgresQL
-Ability to develop code in NodeJS anr/or in Python

Salary: 33-38$/h (negotiable)
Haf time remote position (up to 24h per week)

• Acts as a single point of contact for escalation and operational concerns for assigned customers.
• Provides reporting on the open service requests and RMA (HW replacements).
• Identifies and works proactively on issues to improve customer satisfaction.
• Takes part in Quarterly Business Review meetings and provides trending and gap analysis.
Key requirements:
Candidate must be a self-motivated individual that is dedicated to exceeding client expectations, be willing to contribute to team efforts, and must possess strong communication and interpersonal skills:
• Good knowledge of English
• Demonstrated drive for continuous learning results-orientation and teamwork.
• Excellent working relationships with other customer service organizations within Cisco and with appropriate business units.
• Ability to formulate and deliver presentations.

• Certifications: ITIL v.4
