🚨 *WAPDA SOLAR BILLING ALERT* 🚨

*This is to inform all solar consumers that from December 2025 billing onward, WAPDA has started billing solar users based on the approved DG (Distributed Generation) capacity mentioned in the solar licence, not on the actual installed system capacity.*

For example,
If a consumer has installed a 10 kW or 15 kW solar system, but
The solar licence/DG approval mentions only 5 kW,
Then any exported units beyond the 5 kW limit (after daytime self-consumption) will not be fully credited and will be calculated as per 5 kW only.
⚠️ This can result in a significant financial loss.
✅ Action Required:
Carefully check your December electricity bill
Verify the DG capacity mentioned on your solar licence.

If there is a mismatch between installed capacity and approved DG capacity, immediately contact:
WAPDA Sub-Division concerned
for DG capacity upgradation/correction.
