Zeeshan

A cloudburst on July 21 caused a flash flood near Babusar Top in Diamer district, killing at least four people and injuring several. Over 100 people were rescued, and around 7–8 km of the area was affected. Part of the Karakoram Highway was damaged, stranding thousands. Power and communication lines were also disrupted.

Floods also hit Hassanabad (Hunza) and Salpi (Ghizer), damaging homes, farms, and roads. Experts link these events to changing weather patterns and rising temperatures. Rescue efforts are ongoing but are challenged by rough terrain.
