There are some tips that help a seller to gain a buy box.

𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀

If you are a new seller in a listing your price should be lower than other seller because sellers that have low prices have a high percentage/chances of getting buy box then other seller

𝗙𝘂𝗹𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗱

Fulfillment method is a second main factor of winning a buy box. If you your fulfillment method is FBA then there are high chances that amazon give you buy box because amazon charging fee from you on each product you sell on amazon so your chances increased to win a buy box.

𝗣𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗢𝗗𝗥

Your order defect rate should be less than 0.26% .If your ODR reaches to 1% then there are high chance your account will be suspended .

𝗢𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲

Your order cancellation rate should be lower than 2.5 % if it crosses 25% then your account’s health decreased and there are High chance that your account will be suspended by Amazon.

𝗟𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲

If your fulfillment method is amazon then there are no chances of late shipment but if you are doing FBM then your late shipment rate should be lower than 4% or 0.

𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗰𝗸 𝗮𝘃𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆

If you don’t have the item in stock, you can’t win the Buy Box and it will rotate to another seller. This is why it is crucial for sellers to keep good stock levels of its bestsellers.

Your rating also have a great impact on getting buy box. If your rating is High then other sellers then your chances of winning
buy box also increased
