The Chief Minister has acknowledged that Revenue Field Staff, also known as Patwaris, have deep-rooted connections and familiarity with every village. As frontline administrative officers, they are working around the clock to support flood evacuees and carry out essential government duties. Despite their critical role, the government continues to overlook their needs and fails to provide them with adequate facilities. Instead, their authority is being diminished, with key responsibilities increasingly outsourced to private franchises and firms.
