Sunnah acts (A‘maal) that we can perform on Eid.❤️
Assalamu Alaikum!
In this video, I will discuss some Sunnah acts (A‘maal) that we can perform on Eid.
🌙 3+ Sunnah Acts for Eid
1. Eat dates in an odd number before going for Eid prayer
When going to perform Eid Salah, it is Sunnah to eat dates in an odd number (such as 1, 3, 5, 7, etc.).

2. Change your route when returning from Eid prayer
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to go to Eid prayer by one الطريق and return by a different one.

3. Exchange this beautiful dua when meeting others on Eid
When you meet someone on Eid, say:
تَقَبَّلَ اللهُ مِنَّا وَمِنكُم
“May Allah accept (good deeds) from us and from you.”
This is not a strictly prescribed (wājib) hadith practice, but many scholars consider it a good and recommended act, as the Sahabah (RA) used to say this to each other on Eid.
4. Women attending Eid prayer
Women are also encouraged to attend Eid prayer, even those who are menstruating. They should stay away from the prayer area but can still participate in the gathering and supplication.
A woman said, “O Messenger of Allah, one of us does not have an outer garment.”
He ﷺ replied, “Let her friend lend her one.”
