Department of Communication studies celebrated International Radio day by Organizing a seminar “صداوَں کے ہمسفر” managed by CEF and sponsored by Warble and Welcon.
The objectives of the seminar are to raise greater awareness among the students of Mass Communication and the media of the importance of radio; to encourage decision makers to establish and provide access to information through radio; as well as to enhance networking and international cooperation among broadcasters and to share informative content on radio.

Radio is a low-cost medium specifically suited to reaching remote communities and vulnerable people, offering a platform to intervene in the public debate, irrespective of people’s educational level. It also plays a crucial role in emergency communication and disaster relief.

Department of Communication Studies(BZU) is always actively participating to educate students and to organize such an informative and important seminars.

Exclusively selected by CEF for a trip,keeping in mind the relaxing environment of a place.Lal Sohanra is Located 35km east of Bahawalpur and covering a natural lake and a large man-made forest, this 51,588 hectare Lal Suhanra National Park is a pleasant place to relax.Students had an amazing and relaxing day with their friends.Beautiful sight of peacocks,rabbits,pigeons made the place more bewitching.Boat ride was surely a highlight from a fun filled day.
