What is a pronoun?
"A pronoun is a word that is used instead of a noun or noun phrase." Pronouns refer to either a noun that has already been mentioned or to a noun that does not need to be named specifically.
Pronoun examples
The following examples show how we use pronouns in sentences.
We looked for Britney at her house, but she wasn’t there.
I took my bike to the mechanic to get it fixed.
This is the best birthday ever!
Someone donated 1000 rupees to our charity.
Andy thinks that mayonnaise goes well with anything.
(We,she,I,it,this,someone ,anything) are pronouns.
