Gotcha — let's make you a cute little amigurumi bee 🐝 Super beginner-friendly and works up in under an hour.
*Mini Bee Crochet Pattern*
*Skill level*: Easy
*Time*: 30-45 min
*Materials*
- Worsted weight yarn: yellow, black, white
- 3.5mm or 4mm hook
- Stuffing, tapestry needle, 6mm safety eyes
- Stitch marker
*Abbreviations*
- *MR*: magic ring
- *sc*: single crochet
- *inc*: increase, 2 sc in same stitch
- *dec*: decrease, sc 2 together
- *sl st*: slip stitch
- *FO*: fasten off
*Body*
Start with yellow. Work in continuous rounds.
1. MR, 6 sc
2. inc x6
3. _sc, inc_ x6
4. _2 sc, inc_ x6
5. sc around
Switch to black
6. sc around
Switch to yellow
7. sc around
Switch to black
8. sc around
Switch to yellow
9. _2 sc, dec_ x6
Add safety eyes between rounds 3-4, about 4 stitches apart. Start stuffing.
10. _sc, dec_ x6
11. dec x6
FO, sew closed.
*Wings* - make 2
With white:
1. MR, 6 sc
2. _sc, inc_ x3
Sl st to first sc, FO leaving tail for sewing.
*Assembly*
1. Sew wings to round 6 of body, on the black stripe.
2. Embroider a tiny smile if you want.
Boom — you’ve got a bee. They’re addictive to make and perfect for keychains.
