Dr. Abdul Saboor CEO LPP, met Ms. Elke Gottschalk, Regional Director – Asia & South America, and other key development partners. The exchange reaffirmed a shared vision of empowering communities and building resilient futures.

During the Multan Literary Festival 2025, a powerful discussion was held on “Resilience in Ruins: Lessons and the Way Forward After the 2025 Floods.” The session brought together experts and practitioners including Dr. Abdul Saboor CEO LPP, Ms. Zahida Qureshi President Society for Special Person, Ms. Farhat Naseem Headmistress GGHS Chak Mahni Multan ,and Ms. Somia Farheen MEAL Manager LPP, who shared valuable insights on the challenges, institutional responses, and sustainable recovery approaches after the floods.
Panelists highlighted the need for collaborative planning, inclusion, and community engagement in disaster preparedness and climate resilience. They emphasized that recovery must go beyond rebuilding infrastructure, it should focus on empowering communities to plan, act, and adapt for a safer and more resilient future.

This is an excellent opportunity to contribute your expertise in Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning to ensure quality and accountability in humanitarian programming, while being part of LPP’s mission of resilience and empowerment.
