Istighfar (استغفار) — Allah se maafi maangna — bohot fazilat wali ibadat hai. Iske bohot se benefits hain, dono duniya aur akhirat ke liye:

*1. Gunah maaf hote hain*
Qur’an mein Allah farmata hai:
_“Faqoolu astaghfiru Rabbakum innahu kana Ghaffara.”_
(Surah Nuh: 10)
Translation: “Apne Rabb se maghfirat mango, beshak wo bohot bakhshne wala hai.”

*2. Rizq mein barkat*
Istighfar se rizq barhta hai, mushkilat door hoti hain. (Surah Nuh: 11-12)
“Wo tum par asman se barish barsayega, aur tumhe maal aur aulad se nawazega.”

*3. Dilon ka sukoon*
Jab banda Allah se maafi mangta hai, dil halka hota hai, stress kam hota hai. Zindagi mein sukoon aur itminan aata hai.

*4. Mushkilat ka hal*
Nabi ﷺ ne farmaya:
“Jo shakhs istighfar ko laazim kar le, Allah uske liye har tangi se nikalne ka rasta bana deta hai.” (Abu Dawood)

*5. Akhirat mein nijaat*
Jannat ka wada hai un logon ke liye jo apne gunahon par nadim hote hain aur Allah se sachay dil se tauba karte hain.

*6. Allah ki rehmat nazil hoti hai*
Istighfar karne walon par Allah ki rehmat aur fazl nazil hota hai.

*7. Shaytan se bachao*
Jab banda istighfar karta hai, shaytan mayoos ho jata hai, kyunki Allah ne uske gunah maaf kar diye.

*Chand common istighfar phrases:*
- Astaghfirullah (أستغفر الله)
- Astaghfirullah al-ladhi la ilaha illa huwal hayyul qayyum wa atubu ilaih.

Rozana 100 martaba istighfar karna sunnat hai. Nabi ﷺ bhi rozana 70-100 dafa istighfar karte thay, jabke unke gunah nahi thay.
