NGC Strengthens Employee Well-being Through Day Care Centres

National Grid Company of Pakistan (NGC) continues to promote a family-friendly workplace by establishing Day Care Centres across its offices, providing a safe, nurturing and engaging environment for employees' children.

Currently, Day Care Centres are operational at Shaheen Complex Lahore, Chief Engineer (TSG) Office Lahore, 500kV Grid Station Jamshoro and NGC School at 500kV Grid Station Multan, while additional centres in Multan and Islamabad are under development to further expand this valuable employee welfare initiative.

The centres offer child-friendly facilities including safe play areas, educational and creative learning activities, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable sleeping area, supervised educational media corner, hygienic child-friendly washrooms and dedicated storage space for children’s belongings.

In this regard, Managing Director NGC, Engr. Altaf Hussain Malik said in his message, “NGC remains steadfast in its commitment to the welfare of our employees and their families. The establishment of Day Care Centres across our facilities reflects our belief that a supported family is the foundation of a productive workforce. We are proud to provide these facilities and will continue to expand them to every corner of our operations."
