"‘Acha hua mar gayi’ — really? Is this what we’ve become as a nation?
A 17-year-old girl was murdered, and instead of mourning, many of you are celebrating it because she was a TikToker? Are we now deciding who deserves to live or die based on how someone chooses to express themselves online?
We don’t know the full story. We don’t know the exact reason. But does that even matter right now? An innocent girl lost her life. And what are we doing? Many people are busy celebrating her death online just because she was a TikToker or an influencer.
She wasn’t just a content creator — she was someone’s daughter, someone’s friend, someone’s entire world. A teenager with dreams, laughter, and a future ahead of her. And instead of mourning this tragic loss, some are mocking, ridiculing, and even rejoicing.
This isn’t just about one girl. This is about where we are as a society. About how quick we are to judge, to shame, to dehumanize — especially women who choose to live openly and express themselves.
Influencer or not, no one deserves this. No one deserves to be taken away like this. And certainly, no one deserves to have their death turned into a joke.
Disagree with her lifestyle? Fine. But celebrating her death shows more about you than it ever did about her.
