Makhi Lake (Makhi Dhandh)/Chotiari Reservoir.
Makhi Lake is located in district Sanghar. Popularlry it was haunt of Hur fighters in Sanghar (the frecdom fighters of Pir Pagaro). During war Hurs took refuge in this area and had tense fighting with British army and had retaliation. Later on, the British government abolished all the rights of Hurs on Makhi Dhand. Currently, Makhi Dhand no longer exists. The Makhi has now been converted into Chotiari reservoir which irrigates some parts of Sanghar and adjacent lands of Thar. Few local population particularly Hurs and their families live around Chotiari reservoir.
