A recent survey conducted by NBC News indicates that the American population is divided in their support for both Israelis and Palestinians, with equal numbers of people, 50%, backing each party. Nevertheless, the findings demonstrate a noticeable split based on political affiliation and age demographics.

Among Republican participants, a high level of support for Israel is evident, standing at 81%, whereas a mere 19% express empathy towards Palestinians. Conversely, Democratic individuals predominantly favor Palestinians, with 75% expressing support, in contrast to the 25% who back Israelis. Among the Gen Z demographic, 74% show sympathy for Palestinians, while only 26% align with Israelis.
