Mehtab Ahmad Khan Barcha, a young scholar from Khyber, Gojal Hunza, has successfully completed his PhD in Aerospace Engineering from TU Delft University in the Netherlands on a fully funded scholarship.

He had earlier received the President’s Gold Medal in Energy Systems Engineering from USP-CASE at NUST, recognising his outstanding academic performance.

SKIDO was honored to host a distinguished Japanese group at Khyber CCHA for an extraordinary 10-day snow leopard sighting experience. During their visit, the group had the remarkable opportunity to observe and document five snow leopards in their natural habitat—an achievement that reflects both the rich biodiversity of the region and the success of ongoing conservation efforts. Their visit not only highlights the global significance of Khyber CCHA as a prime destination for responsible wildlife tourism, but also reinforces the importance of international collaboration in protecting this iconic and endangered species.
