This thirty-year-old female presented for a 6 motnh complaint of difficulty with seeing in night and darker areas. She was seen at two facilities and diagnosed for having Vitamin A deficiency and was supplemented with Vitamin A. But no improvement was seen.
At our facility, the detailed eye examination directed our attention towards a neurological cause. An MRI brain was ordered and there was "Pituitary adenoma; a Brain Tumor" causing her symptoms.
The patient was operated at Neurosurgery facility in Islamabad.
Now the patient is fine and happy
