Orientation Visit to the Directorate of Tourism Gilgit-Baltistan
We are delighted to share the successful completion of an orientation visit by our Tourism and Hospitality students to the Directorate of Tourism Gilgit-Baltistan.
The visit provided a detailed understanding of the department’s organizational structure, policy framework, and ongoing tourism development initiatives in Gilgit-Baltistan. A formal briefing on tourism potential and policy directions was delivered by officials of the Directorate. Students actively engaged with professionals, gaining valuable insights into operational practices, project management, and emerging opportunities within the tourism sector.
This academic exposure played a significant role in bridging the gap between theoretical learning and practical application, while enhancing students’ professional awareness and industry readiness.
