OMADA CONTROLLER UPGRADE ANNOUNCEMENT

We are pleased to announce that our Omada Controller has been successfully upgraded to version 5.15.24.

To ensure optimal performance, we recommend that clients restart their access points or reboot their devices if connectivity issues are observed.

It is also advisable to update your Omada app to the latest version (v4.23 or higher) to fully access and manage the new features.

Here are key features now available:

1. Prohibit Wi-Fi Sharing (Anti-Tethering)
Prevents connected users from sharing their WiFi connection with others, helping to secure bandwidth and minimize unauthorized access.

2. Ping-Pong Roaming Optimization
Improves client stability by reducing frequent and unnecessary switching between nearby access points.

3. Hotspot 2.0 Support (Beta)
Enables seamless roaming and automatic authentication across compatible WiFi networks, similar to cellular connectivity.

4. Enhanced Portal and Voucher Management
Offers better tracking of voucher usage, support for custom time-based validity, and tools to clean up expired vouchers easily.
