Out of 13,000 submissions this year from all over the world, WURI selected the top 100 per category where 𝐒𝐀𝐈𝐓 𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐞𝐝 𝟖𝟑 𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐨𝐫𝐲: 𝐄𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 and 𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐞𝐝 𝟗𝟏 𝐢𝐧 𝐂𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐨𝐫𝐲: 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲-𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐄𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐬.

The winning entry of SAIT for the Category: Ethics and Integrity is "Project ALL-CARE" by Marjorie G. Resullar (Extension, Linkages, and Alumni Affairs Director).

Meanwhile, the winning entry for the Category: University-Based Entrepreneurial Projects is "Project Innovate Lokal" by Dickson P. Pagente (VPRPAA) and Sheila Rose T. Lumaygay (Technology Protection and Commercialization Officer).

Dr. Jocelyn C. Andamon, program head and faculty member of the College of Education at San Agustin Institute of Technology (SAIT), earned the 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗢𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 for her research titled “𝑪𝒐𝒏𝒕𝒆𝒏𝒕-𝑷𝒆𝒅𝒂𝒈𝒐𝒈𝒚-𝑨𝒔𝒔𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 (𝑪𝑷𝑨) 𝑪𝒖𝒓𝒓𝒊𝒄𝒖𝒍𝒂𝒓 𝑴𝒐𝒅𝒆𝒍: 𝑨 𝑻𝒓𝒊𝒂𝒅𝒊𝒄 𝑪𝒐𝒎𝒑𝒆𝒕𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒚-𝑩𝒂𝒔𝒆𝒅 𝑫𝒓𝒊𝒗𝒆𝒏 𝑭𝒓𝒂𝒎𝒆𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒌 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑴𝒂𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒎𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒄𝒔 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑴𝒐𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒏 𝑾𝒐𝒓𝒍𝒅.”

𝗦𝗔𝗜𝗧 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗲𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗙𝗮𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘀

𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐚 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐁𝐮𝐤𝐢𝐝𝐧𝐨𝐧 — 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐞 𝟐𝟗, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓. The SAIT Research Center convened a Monitoring Meeting with faculty researchers who have active research projects for Academic Years 2023–2024 and 2024–2025.

The session was facilitated by Dr. Dickson P. Pagente, Research Director and Vice President for Research, Planning, and Academic Advancement (VPRPAA). The meeting served as a venue for faculty researchers to provide progress updates on their ongoing studies, share challenges encountered during implementation, and discuss strategies for timely completion and dissemination of results.

Dr. Pagente emphasized the importance of continuous monitoring in ensuring that research projects remain aligned with institutional priorities and contribute meaningfully to SAIT’s vision. He also highlighted how monitoring strengthens accountability and provides opportunities for mentoring and technical support.

The participating faculty researchers engaged in productive discussions, presenting the status of their respective projects while receiving feedback and guidance from the Research Center. The activity reinforced SAIT’s commitment to nurturing a vibrant research culture and supporting its faculty in achieving research excellence.

By holding regular monitoring meetings, SAIT ensures that its research agenda is not only implemented effectively but also produces outputs that can positively impact the institution, the community, and society at large.
