Despite the ban on single-use plastic bags at grocery store checkouts, plastic bags are still used for produce, and plastic packaging is everywhere. We need to address this excess plastic in our homes, especially in the kitchen. Here are some ways to reduce, reuse, and recycle in the kitchen.

Before you begin working at height:
ALWAYS
1. Do as much work as you can from the ground.
2. Ensure you can get to and from where you are working, considering emergency evacuations, and rescue procedures.
3. Check your surroundings before you work on a ladder.
NEVER
1. Overload ladders.
2. Overreach on ladders.
3. Rest a ladder against a weak surface.
4. Never ever do strenuous tasks whilst on a ladder. Use them for light work for a short duration. (30 minutes or less is fine).
