📝 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗦𝗬 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲–𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟳! 🛝

This school year, we are happy to welcome our amazing 𝗦𝗡𝗘𝗗 𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀 as we begin another journey of learning and development together. 💜

At Achievers, every child is valued, supported, and empowered to learn in a nurturing environment that celebrates their unique strengths and potential. 🌟

We would also like to share an important update in our terminology:

✅ Starting this year, we will be using the term 𝗦𝗡𝗘𝗗 (𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘀 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻) instead of SPED (Special Education) in our communications and center activities.

📚 What is the difference?
- 𝗦𝗣𝗘𝗗 (𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻): traditionally used to describe educational services designed for learners with disabilities or special needs

- 𝗦𝗡𝗘𝗗 (𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝗲𝗲𝗱𝘀 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻): a more updated and learner-centered term that emphasizes the unique educational needs of each child and the support provided to help them succeed

At Achievers, this update reflects our continued commitment to using respectful, and child-focused language in the way we serve our learners and families.
