FRUSTRATED MURDER SUSPECT ARRESTED IN DAANBANTAYAN TOWN

A wanted individual facing a charge of frustrated murder was successfully arrested by operatives of the Daanbantayan Municipal Police Station during a warrant service operation on April 18, 2026.

The arrest was carried out in Daanbantayan, Cebu, by the Tracker Team of the local police station.

The accused, a male resident of the said municipality, was apprehended by virtue of a bench warrant of arrest for the crime of frustrated murder. The warrant stemmed from a pending criminal case filed before a regional trial court.

Authorities reported that the operation was the result of a focused and intelligence-driven effort, leading to the successful location and arrest of the suspect without incident. The accused was informed of the nature of his arrest and his constitutional rights at the time of apprehension.

He is currently under the custody of the Daanbantayan Municipal Police Station and is awaiting further legal proceedings.
