In its continued commitment to fostering responsible citizenship and lifelong learning, Holy Child Central Colleges, Inc. (HCCCI) proudly took part in the Investor Protection Week 2025 celebration held on November 10, 2025, at the South Cotabato Gymnasium and Cultural Center, City of Koronadal.

𝐇𝐂𝐂𝐂𝐈 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐧𝐬 𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲-𝐀𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐞 𝐂𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐮𝐦 𝐒𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭

Holy Child Central Colleges, Inc. (HCCCI) reaffirmed its commitment to sustainable and industry-aligned education through the successful conduct of the “𝗜𝗻𝗱𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆-𝗔𝗰𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗲 𝗦𝘆𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆: 𝗖𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘂𝗺 𝗔𝘂𝗱𝗶𝘁 & 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁” held on June 25, 2025, at Campus 1 in Surallah, South Cotabato. The summit served as a strategic platform to align academic programs with evolving industry needs, promote workforce readiness, and reinforce HCCCI’s role in contributing to sustainable development in the region.

The event opened with the arrival of guests and participants, followed by welcome remarks from Executive Vice President Vanessa Marie L. Antiquin, MMEM, and opening remarks from Academic Director Dr. Erwin M. Faller. Both highlighted the importance of bridging academic theory with practical, real-world applications through collaborative curriculum development. They emphasized that a responsive, innovative, and sustainability-oriented education system is key to producing graduates who are not only employable but also capable of addressing social and environmental challenges in their respective industries.

The core of the summit featured departmental breakout sessions, where faculty members from various colleges—Business Studies, Allied Health Sciences, Education, Criminal Justice, Computer Studies, and Hospitality and Tourism—engaged in curriculum review and partnership discussions with industry stakeholders. These sessions were designed to evaluate existing course content, identify skill gaps, and incorporate industry feedback into academic planning. Venues such as the Smart Classroom, Innovation Laboratory, and Amphitheater were utilized to facilitate meaningful collaboration and dialogue.

The summit was made more impactful by the active participation of notable government agencies and private sector partners, including the 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗼𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗼 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗰 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘁, 𝗧𝗘𝗦𝗗𝗔 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 (𝗛𝗖𝗖𝗖𝗜), 𝗟𝗧𝗢 𝗦𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗵 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲, 𝗦𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗵 𝗠𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗕𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘂 𝗼𝗳 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗵, 𝗟𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗯𝘂 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗺 𝗢𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲, 𝗟𝗚𝗨 𝗞𝗼𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗱𝗮𝗹, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗠𝗥 𝗛𝘂𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲𝘀. Several companies also took part, such as 𝗞𝗕𝗦 𝗣𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗰𝘆, 𝗔𝗯𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝗙𝗮𝗿𝗺 𝗦𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗹𝘆, 𝗜𝗻𝗰., 𝗘𝗨𝗟𝗔𝗣 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀, 𝗜𝗻𝗰., 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗲𝗹 𝗧𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗽𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺, 𝗜𝗻𝗰., 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗳𝘆, 𝗜𝗻𝗰., 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝗻𝗻 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝗳𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗦𝗽𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲, 𝗜𝗻𝗰., 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝗻𝗻 𝗙𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗮𝗻 𝗙𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗹, 𝗜𝗻𝗰. These organizations contributed valuable insights on industry demands, trends, and areas of collaboration that could enhance student learning and future employment outcomes.

By 11:00 AM, the newly formed Industry-Academe Board Officers were officially inducted, solidifying the partnerships between HCCCI and its stakeholders. Certificates of appreciation were also awarded to acknowledge the invaluable contributions of all participating entities. The summit concluded with a campus tour, allowing partners to visit HCCCI’s state-of-the-art learning spaces, including classrooms and laboratories that support inclusive education, particularly for learners from remote and indigenous communities.

Through this initiative, HCCCI continues to lead in embedding sustainability and industry relevance in higher education. By fostering strong linkages with various sectors and engaging in collaborative planning, the institution ensures that its graduates are equipped not only with academic knowledge but also with the real-world competencies and values needed to thrive in the dynamic and diverse environments of various industries.
