📢 CLASS SUSPENSION ADVISORY

In view of the prevailing Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) bringing continuous rainshowers and thunderstorms over parts of South Cotabato, including the Municipality of Norala, and in the interest of public safety, Mayor Clemente Fedoc has directed the suspension of classes at all levels in both public and private schools tomorrow, July 9, 2026.

Schools are advised to shift to the Modular Distance Learning Modality (MDLM) or implement other appropriate alternative learning delivery modalities to ensure the continuity of education while prioritizing the safety and well-being of learners, teachers, and school personnel.

The public is advised to remain vigilant, monitor official weather updates from PAGASA and advisories from the LGU, and take the necessary precautions against possible flooding, landslides, and other weather-related hazards.

The MDRRMO Norala will continue to closely monitor the weather situation and issue further advisories as necessary.

📢 ADVISORY | SUSPENSION OF CLASSES

By virtue of the authority of Municipal Mayor Clemente B. Fedoc, classes at all levels in both public and private schools in the Municipality of Norala are hereby suspended today, June 30, 2026, due to continuous heavy rainfall and adverse weather conditions.

An Official Memorandum will follow.

All schools are advised to shift to the Alternative Delivery Mode (ADM) in accordance with the applicable Department of Education guidelines and memoranda to ensure the continuity of learning while prioritizing the safety of students, teachers, and school personnel.

⚠️ We encourage everyone to remain vigilant, monitor official advisories, and avoid unnecessary travel, especially in flood-prone and landslide-prone areas.
