SOLANO POLICE INTENSIFY ANTI-CRIMINALITY CAMPAIGN; MOST WANTED PERSON ARRESTED
Solano Police Station together with PIU/PDEU as lead unit, together with Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEG) successfully arrested a Most Wanted Person during the conduct of law enforcement operation within the Municipality of Solano, Nueva Vizcaya.
The operation resulted in the successful arrest of alyas “Ricric,” 41-year-old male listed as a Street Level Individual (SLI) and resident of Barangay Quirino, Solano, Nueva Vizcaya for violation of Article II, Sections 5 and 11 of Republic Act No. 9165. Further, the arrested wanted person was informed of his constitutional rights in compliance with the Miranda Doctrine and is now under the custody of Solano Police Station prior to turnover to the issuing court.
PMAJ JOHN ANTHONY S SANCHEZ, Chief of Police commended the operating units for the successful implementation of the warrant and emphasized the station’s commitment in intensifying its campaign against illegal drugs and wanted persons. He stated that the accomplishment reflects the strong coordination among law enforcement agencies in ensuring peace and order within the municipality.
Meanwhile, PCOL PAUL T BOMETIVO, Provincial Director NVPPO lauded the operating personnel for their dedication and professionalism in the conduct of the operation. He reiterated that the continuous implementation of law enforcement operations against wanted persons is part of the intensified efforts of the Philippine National Police to uphold public safety and strengthen the campaign against criminality and illegal drugs in the province.
The Philippine National Police remains steadfast in encouraging the public to support police initiatives by providing information that may help in the arrest of wanted persons and the maintenance of peace and order in the community.

ANTI-ILLEGAL DRUG OPERATION YIELDS ARREST AND SEIZURE OF ‘SHABU’ IN SOLANO
Operatives of Solano Police Station successfully conducted an anti-illegal drug buy-bust operation on the evening of May 1, 2026, resulting in the apprehension of a 57-year-old former security guard and the seizure of suspected Methamphetamine Hydrochloride, locally known as "shabu."
The operation, conducted took place Purok 4, Barangay Osmeña. The mission resulted in the apprehension of a 57-year-old male resident and former security guard.
During the controlled purchase, a designated Poseur Buyer (PB) successfully bought three (3) heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing a white crystalline substance suspected to be Methamphetamine Hydrochloride, commonly known as “shabu.” The seized items have a total estimated weight of 0.902 grams, with a Standard Drug Price (SDP) of ₱6,133.60.
Following the transaction, the pre-arranged signal was given, leading to the immediate arrest of the suspect. A subsequent search yielded a brown leather wallet containing three ₱1,000 bills used as buy-bust money.
In strict adherence to Section 21 of Republic Act 9165, the marking and inventory of the evidence were performed immediately at the place of arrest.

This successful operation is a testament to our intensified intelligence gathering and the commitment of our officers to maintain peace and order in Solano. Meanwhile, PCOL PAUL T BOMETIVO, Provincial Director, NVPPO, emphasized the importance of high-impact operations "The NVPPO is relentless in its campaign against the proliferation of illegal drugs across the province. This arrest serves as a stern warning that Nueva Vizcaya is no place for drug peddlers. I laud the Solano PS and our partners from the DOJ, the media, and the local government for their transparency and support in this operation. Together, we are building a safer, drug-free province for our families."
The suspect and the confiscated evidence are currently in the custody of the Solano Police Station for proper documentation and the filing of charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 (The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).
