IN PHOTOS || 1532H – A walk-in patient arrived at the station requesting a blood pressure assessment due to complaints of dizziness. The patient was immediately assisted into a comfortable sitting position. An initial assessment revealed that the patient was conscious, alert, and responsive, with no other apparent signs of distress. Vital signs were obtained and recorded as follows: BP: 140/89 mmHg; PR: 90 bpm; RR: 23 cpm; SpO₂: 98%; Temperature: 36.4°C. Appropriate first aid was provided. The patient was advised to remain seated, avoid sudden movements, and was continuously monitored for any recurrence or worsening of dizziness. As part of the initial management, Captopril 25 mg was administered sublingually as ordered/authorized. Health education was also provided regarding adequate hydration, avoiding strenuous physical activity, and seeking immediate medical consultation should symptoms persist or worsen. The patient's blood pressure was reassessed and recorded at 130/80 mmHg. The patient reported relief of dizziness and showed no further signs of discomfort. Upon reassessment, the patient remained conscious, alert, and hemodynamically stable. The patient refused transport to the nearest medical facility for further evaluation and management. He was advised to continue taking his prescribed medications as directed, obtain adequate rest upon returning home, and seek medical consultation if symptoms recurred or worsened. The patient left the station in stable condition.
