Ang CPP-NPA-NDF na walang malinaw na direksyon kung pano manalo, ngunit tumatangging tumigil sa pakikipaglaban ay hindi nagpapakita ng rebolusyonaryong determinasyon. Ipinapakita nito ang estratehikong pagkabangkarote. Ang kasaysayan ay puno ng mga halimbawa ng mga kilusang kumilala kung kailan nagbago ang mga kalagayan, pumipihit na sitwasyon at nag-adjust nang naaayon. Sa kabaligtaran, ang CPP-NPA-NDF na naggigiit na ipagpatuloy ang bigong estratehiya dekada-dekada ay hindi nagpapakita ng tamang rebolusyonaryong kaisipan; ito ay nagpapakita ng bankaroteng dogmatismo.

The recruitment of youth by the CPP-NPA is a serious concern that puts the future, safety and their lives at risk. Young individuals should be guided toward education, meaningful opportunities and community involvement instead of being influenced to join armed conflict. The youth deserve a safe environment where they can grow, learn, and contribute positively to society without fear, violence, or danger. Families, schools, communities, and leaders must work together to guide and protect them from activities that may harm their future and well-being.
We call for an end to the recruitment of youth into the CPP-NPA and encourage all sectors of society to stand united in protecting the lives of our young people. Let us promote peace, understanding, and lawful ways of expressing concerns and creating change. By safeguarding the youth from violence and conflict, we help build stronger communities and a more peaceful future where every young person can pursue their dreams in safety and hope. #

Today, the EU Delegation to the Philippines hosted the MARINA Multi-Sector Governance Council (MSGC), bringing together representatives from government, industry, academia, and maritime stakeholders to discuss key priorities for the sector.
The exchange highlighted the importance of governance reform, workforce development, digital transformation, maritime safety, and sustainability in enhancing the competitiveness of the Philippine maritime industry and supporting Filipino seafarers.
The discussion also reflected the European Unionβs continued partnership with MARINA through the EU-ASEAN Sustainable Connectivity Package (SCOPE) Seafarers Project. Under , the EU supports long-term institutional strengthening, maritime education, and trusted international partnerships that contribute to a safer, greener, and more resilient maritime sector.
