The LGU Santa Fe, Nueva Vizcaya commemorated the 128th Anniversary of Philippine Independence at the Jose Rizal Monument, Santa Fe LGU Compound, June 12, 2026. Anchored on the theme “𝙆𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙖𝙣, 𝙆𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙗𝙪𝙠𝙖𝙨𝙖𝙣, 𝙆𝙖𝙨𝙖𝙮𝙨𝙖𝙮𝙖𝙣,” the program began with a wreath-laying ceremony led by Hon Mayor Liwayway C. Caramat, Hon. Vice Mayor Tidong A. Benito with Sangguniang Bayan Members, followed by patriotic activities including the invocation by Ms. Carpilyn Agmallo, the Panata sa Bagong Pilipinas led by Hon. Eddie B. Caramat, SB Member, special musical performances, and a brief reflection on the history of Philippine independence by Hon. Wycliff B. Dulawan.

Messages of unity and service were delivered by Hon. Tidong A. Benito, Municipal Vice Mayor, PMAJ Geriyell C. Frogoso, Chief of Police,PNP Santa Fe, SFO4 Joel A. Pua, Officer-in-Charge- BFP Santa Fe and Hon. Mayor Liwayway C. Caramat, reminding everyone that true patriotism is reflected not only in remembering the past but also in pursuing and maintaining clean and righteous governance. Mayor Caramat also emphasized the importance of upholding integrity in public service and ensuring that the trust bestowed by the people is never wasted.
