:this is a personal project that i've been working during the ecq, keeping it for my GRAS design portfolio. feeling productive.

I decided to take inspiration from the old house we rented back in Bacolor 3 years ago. i just wanted to recall the atmosphere and the "peace of mind" that i had living in that house and translate it into my design. Such elements are present, like the use of polished concrete and wood panels. One thing i greatly miss about is the large balcony facing the sunrise and an open grass field, its all-day breeze, peaceful morning and lazy afternoons, petrichor before the rain, mom's garden work, and my college days I spent working there with my friends. I even had that goal of renovating it someday. never knew it brought an impact to what i am now today as an architect. moving on. Let's trust in God's plans and take actions in our goals. hope to build this one someday, for my parents.
