on my silent days, i wish my parents knew that i am struggling, too.

i wish they knew that i am still figuring things out, that i'm not as strong as i pretend to be. because even though i'm grown, i still need their comfort, their guidance, their love. i just need them to see me, really see me, and let me know it's okay to struggle. maybe then, i wouldn't feel so alone in my silent days.
