Received donations today for the food, Mayo's follow up check, and Star's check up is a total of 2,800. Today's check-up 6,000 na + food pa nila. Ayun nagastos ang iniipon para sa future car and home. Wala ng halos pumapansin ng post ko, pero lumalaban pa din ako. Walang choice.

Today, I brought Star, Negie’s sister, to the vet for a thorough check-up. Over the past months, I have brought multiple rescued cats to different vets because they all have the same symptoms — colds and cough. Despite medications and continuous care at home, some of them still lost the fight.

Today, I brought Star to the same vet who handled Mayo, and different tests were run compared to the previous clinics. Sadly, Star tested positive for FIV, GIA, and CPV — all viral infections.

Honestly, these are not tests we usually run on rescued cats, and even the previous vets where we brought them did not require or recommend these tests before. Because of that, we never expected that one rescued cat might unknowingly carry these viruses and possibly spread them to the others. I just don’t know who.

It breaks my heart because I already lost a lot of my rescued cats, and now we are fighting this virus that has affected my rescues.

The vet provided prescriptions and medications for all the rescued cats, and right now, I badly need your help to continue their treatment and medications.
