This week’s Siesta came from a message, Colovrwave reached out to us on Moodnight Sessions, and after checking out their track “Scarlet,” it immediately stood out.

Hailing from Rizal (Montalban, San Mateo, and Antipolo), the band blends pop-punk and metalcore into a sound that feels both aggressive and emotionally raw. “Scarlet” leans heavily into that space, driven by tension, frustration, and inner conflict.

Lyrically, the track hits a very real nerve. Lines about arguments, emotional exhaustion, and self-blame (“Siguro nga ako ang mali”) give it a relatable, almost confrontational honesty. It feels like a conversation that keeps repeating in your head, unresolved, heavy, and personal.
