Initial space development preparations are underway for Create Hub-YSH in Maluso, Basilan! Architect Sadat and Architect Almer of UAP-Zamboanga conducted a vital site assessment of the place to lay the groundwork for our upcoming build this year!

Create Hub-YSH is in collaboration with the Yellow Boat of Hope Foundation, Claret Samal Foundation Inc. - CSFI, and Uap Zamboanga.

We're building an inclusive digital space for at least 250 Sama-Bajau children and their teachers at the Yellow School of Hope in Maluso, Basilan! 💻✨

For the Sama Bajaus of Basilan, education often takes a backseat to livelihood. With limited access to the internet and digital tools, learning opportunities remain scarce. This digital divide continues to limit their potential and widen the gap between opportunity and access.

Together with the Yellow Boat of Hope Foundation, Claret Samal Foundation Inc. - CSFI, and Uap Zamboanga, we're launching our next Create Hub at Maluso, Basilan, to promote digital inclusion and expand access to technology, education, and growth.

On June 5, 2026, our Campaigns Officer, Alee, visited St. Francis Learning Center in Subic, Zambales—a potential partner for our pilot Create Hub in Luzon!

She met with Sister Nancy, the school head of St. Francis Learning Center, and Teacher Joshua, our possible Create Hub coordinator, to follow up on our initial partnership discussions. Together, they mapped out preliminary preparations for Create Foundation's potential pilot Create Hub in Luzon! Stay tuned as we work toward making this collaboration official! 🏠🛜

Our CLIMB Drive Stations are all set up and ready to receive your book donations!📚⛰️

We have officially set up 8 volunteer-led Stations across Metro Manila and nearby provinces! These Stations are here to make donating books and learning materials through our CLIMB Drive much easier. All collected materials will support the 78 Mangyan children and 6 teachers of Liguma Mangyan Elementary School (LMES) in Bongabong, Oriental Mindoro.

Create Hub is our flagship program that is primarily designed for children and youth living in residential care facilities (RCFs) and in three other communities — rural, urban poor, and IP communities — who experience digital exclusion. Hubbers, or what we call our Create Hub users, are provided with three core offerings: Tech, ICT Courses, and Arts.

Maricar, our Coin Grantee from Iloilo, is ! 💻🛜

Maricar is an 18-year-old Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education (BTLED) student majoring in Information and Communications Technology (ICT) at Iloilo Science and Technology University.

Without a personal computer, she relies heavily on her mobile phone or computer shops to complete schoolwork and her part-time freelance work.

Now, with a Coin (Computer and Internet) Grant at hand, she can fully participate in the digital demands of her program and prepare for a future teaching ICT to students.

The Coin (Computer and Internet) Grant aims to facilitate computer ownership as well as ensure internet access, at least for a year, for students, home-based employees, and community workers who know how to use a computer, tablet, or phone and navigate the internet, but do not have the means to purchase their own equipment.
