Khao Kheow Open Zoo Travel Guide: Getting Around Without Stress

With its massive size, planning how to get around Khao Kheow Open Zoo is essential.

You have three main options: walking, tram, or golf cart.

Walking may sound doable, but trust me—it’s not ideal in the heat. The tram is a budget-friendly option and works well if you’re okay with fixed routes and schedules.

But if you want flexibility and comfort, especially with kids, renting a golf cart is the way to go. It allows you to explore at your own pace and avoid unnecessary exhaustion.

Choosing the right mode of transport can really shape your overall experience.

Learning About Thai Silk in Real Life

Reading about Thai silk is one thing—seeing its story unfold in real life is another. At the Jim Thompson House and Museum, you’ll learn how silk is made and how Jim Thompson helped bring Thai silk to the global stage.

The museum explains the process clearly, even for non-experts, and connects it to Thailand’s cultural and economic history. It’s fascinating, especially if you enjoy fashion, design, or craftsmanship.

This visit gave me a deeper appreciation for the art behind something we often take for granted.

The Unexpected Start of My Freelance Journey
A lot of people think my freelancing journey was carefully planned. It wasn’t.

Years ago, I was preparing to resign from my regular job and looking for companies closer to home. On a whim, I also applied to a couple of companies hiring remote workers. I didn’t think much of it at the time.

The next thing I knew, I had signed a contract and started training. I realized something life-changing: I could actually work from the comfort of my bedroom.

Back then, remote work wasn’t as common as it is today. I had no idea that freelancing and remote work would eventually allow me to travel, spend more time with my family, and build a career outside the traditional office.

But I’ll be honest—finding premium clients and building a sustainable freelance career wasn’t easy. It took years of learning, improving my skills, and understanding how freelancing really works.

If you’re thinking about leaving your 9-5, I wrote a detailed guide that can help you make the transition smoother.
