At 77, most people would say they’ve done enough. But Sir Mario Resurreccion is just getting started.

Fresh from graduating Senior High School, Sir Mario visited the CSU Piat Campus Library—not just to look around, but to borrow an encyclopedia. Advance reading, indeed! A true scholar at heart.

With smiles, admiration, and heartfelt congratulations, students warmly gathered around him—welcoming him into a community he will soon call home as he pursues a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture.

His story reminds us that learning knows no age, no limits, and no expiration date. It is a lifelong journey fueled by curiosity, courage, and passion.

The Campus Librarian and library staff of CSU Piat actively supported the orchard establishment initiative aimed at enhancing fruit crop productivity through the implementation of Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) management. This activity forms part of the university’s ongoing commitment to sustainable agriculture, research support, and community development.

The CSUP Library personnel proudly supported the orchard establishment at CSU Piat, promoting sustainable agriculture and environmental stewardship. This initiative aligns with the 𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗚𝗼𝗮𝗹𝘀 (𝗦𝗗𝗚𝘀), particularly 𝗦𝗗𝗚 2 (𝗭𝗲𝗿𝗼 𝗛𝘂𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗿) by supporting food security through improved crop productivity, 𝗦𝗗𝗚 13 (𝗖𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻) by encouraging climate-resilient farming practices, and 𝗦𝗗𝗚 15 (𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗱) by promoting sustainable land use and biodiversity conservation 🌳🍃

At this very moment, the Campus Library is jampacked with students—every seat filled, every corner alive with reading, studying, and learning. Seeing the library this vibrant reminds us that even in the age of Artificial Intelligence and endless digital resources, the library remains an essential sanctuary of knowledge.

Technology may provide quick answers, but the library cultivates deeper understanding, critical thinking, and meaningful discovery. It is a place where curiosity grows, ideas are explored, and students learn not only to find information but to evaluate, reflect, and truly learn.
