A few months ago, I signed up to be a design coach at Create Lab — a collaboration between CITEM and CDAP that supports local food and beverage brands with their visual brand development. I was waiting for my a doctor's appointment when the email came in, and I said yes with zero expectations. What I didn’t know then was how much I needed this moment of reconnection.

Speaking with passionate Filipino business owners, collaborating with fellow creatives, and getting immersed in the rich tapestry of local products reminded me why I do what I do. It wasn't just about logos or labels — it was about giving form to purpose, and helping others communicate the pride they feel in what they’ve built.

This experience was a gentle nudge from the universe to keep going — and to trust that the work we do, when done with heart, always finds its way to the people who need it most.
