The Phase 1: Training Workshop for the Crafting of Modules for Project LEAD (Leadership Excellence, Advancement and Development Program) cm Leadership Academy Cycle III successfully brought together dedicated education leaders committed to strengthening leadership and quality education.

OFFICIAL STATEMENT
IN RESPONSE TO THE ALLEGED THREAT AT TOLOSA NATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL

25 June 2026 – The Department of Education (DepEd) Leyte Division issues this statement regarding the alleged threat reported at Tolosa National High School, Tolosa, Leyte.

Upon receiving information about the alleged threat, the school immediately coordinated with the District Supervisor and the Tolosa Municipal Police Station (MPS) to assess the situation and ensure the safety of learners, teachers, and personnel.

The Office assures the public that the matter was treated with utmost seriousness. A thorough investigation was conducted in coordination with the concerned authorities, and the case has been resolved and officially closed.

To support the school community, psychosocial activities are being conducted for students and teachers. The Schools Division Office has also directed schools to strengthen security measures, with police officers and barangay tanods maintaining regular monitoring in and around the school premises.

DepEd Leyte Division remains committed to ensuring the safety, security, and well-being of all learners and personnel and will continue to work closely with authorities to maintain a safe and conducive learning environment.
