China-Cambodia AEO Mutual Recognition Agreement Officially Signed! A New Pathway for ASEAN Economic and Trade Cooperation Emerges
To date, China has signed AEO mutual recognition agreements with 33 economies, including Singapore, the European Union, and South Africa, covering 59 countries (regions). The number of ASEAN member states has increased to four (Singapore, Thailand, the Philippines, and Cambodia), and mutual recognition has been implemented with 52 of these countries (regions). China ranks first globally in terms of the number of mutual recognition agreements signed, the number of countries (regions) involved, and the number of agreements currently in effect.

On May 22, the Chongqing-ASEAN Investment and Trade Cooperation Exchange and Matchmaking Conference, hosted by the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Commerce and supported by the China-ASEAN Center, successfully concluded at the Chongqing Yuelai International Convention Center. Representatives from enterprises deeply involved in regional development and focusing on cross-border services were invited to attend, joining consulates, financial institutions, logistics platforms, and industry partners from ASEAN countries to discuss new paths for Chongqing-ASEAN investment and trade cooperation and to jointly draw a new blueprint for the open development of the New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor.
