LGU Nabas Celebrates Arbor Day 2025: Planting the Seeds of a Greener Future

Today, August 15, 2025, the Local Government Unit of Nabas joins the province of Aklan and the entire nation is celebrating Philippine Arbor Day. This annual observance, mandated by Republic Act No. 10176 or the "Arbor Day Act of 2012," serves as a powerful reminder of our collective responsibility to protect and restore our natural environment.

Our celebration this year focuses on the theme, "Plant a Tree, Grow a Legacy," which underscores the long-term impact of our actions. A single tree is more than just a plant; it is a vital part of our ecosystem that provides clean air, supports biodiversity, and helps mitigate the effects of climate change.

By planting a tree today, we are not only nurturing our environment but also investing in the health and well-being of future generations of Nabasnon.
