CASUAL WORKSHOP : THE WHITEBOARD

Immediately after completing lesson one, the artchievers gathered on our digital whiteboard to doodle together! Look at all these silly and beautiful sketches made by different members!✒️😝✨

LESSON 1 IN FIGURE DRAWING
Introducing the "LOOMIS METHOD"
(DOCUMENTATION AND INSTRUCTIONS)

What is exactly the Loomis method? The Loomis method is a technique where it draws the guidelines and measurements for accuracy and figure drawing improvements. This includes breaking down the head into three sections guiding where the parts of the face are proportionally positioned. Not only it demonstrates where to, but also a good practice for both drawing and understanding the structure of the human head via Loomis method.

Assignment for the attendees!
- Write a reflection paper consisting of descriptive sentences or paragraphs of what you have learned and picked up from our lesson. If you have completed the activity given during the lesson, locate the parts and explain the following use of the guidelines. (3 section rule, the shape, and the cross guideline) Submit by September 20 before our next class.

Start of September Art Class: ANATOMY, POSES AND PROPORTIONS

It was a splendid day for aspiring artists as the ARTSclub took the first step for their weekly art session on September 13, 2025—held in the CSN Campus.

President Hazzell Romero, who led the class, introduced the basics in drawing such as the use of shapes and lines—along with the concept of proportions. Students gathered their pencils and papers, studied the topic, and noticed their gradual improvement as they practice further together with fun.

The first session successfully came to an end with an insightful and productive day, leaving everyone a new art lesson learned.
