Update for The Sidlak Kabataan 2026: Himig at Galaw (The Journey) - short update

Our preparation was not easy. We practiced for five days straight, but not the whole day since everyone also had their own responsibilities and errands. Even with limited time, we still did our best during rehearsals and tried to improve every practice.

Our lineup was mostly made up of juniors and first timers. It was also the very first time for them (the juniors) to join this kind of competition. Because of that, we had to adjust quickly, learn fast, and even change parts of our routine. (especially since five of our seniors including our team captain and our assistant team captain were unable to join)

On the day of the competition, we were still finishing and fixing some parts of our piece because of the short preparation time. But we stayed focused and worked together until everything was ready.

Our choreography is a mix of different ideas, including other choreographies and our own team’s creativity. We combined everything to create one performance that represents us.

We also had a problem with our costume because it did not arrive on time. We take responsibility for this and we learned from it. Because of that, we had to quickly find another way to still look ready for the stage. To everyone who helped us financially and supported us, thank you so much. It really helped us during that situation.

We also did not make it to the podium finish, not like last year (2nd Runner Up). We fell short, and it’s something we accept. But we promise that we will learn from this experience, work harder, and do even better next time.

Di talaga namin in-expect 'to! 2nd runner up kami sa Pasiklaban: A Night of Talent 2025 sa Bilibol, Maasin City, Southern Leyte! Sobrang thank you sa lahat ng tumulong at sumuporta—ang dami n’yo, hindi na namin kayo maiisa-isa sa sobrang dami but sobrang grateful kami sa inyong lahat. This win is for all of you.

Sobrang dami po naming in-adjust. Considering na almost 2 days lang po yung preparation namin for this routine and that we are not expecting na sobrang dulas ng floor so we're having a hard time executing (kitang kita madaming "sayop" hahha). Sa daming magagaling na contestant, hindi na talaga kami nag expect na makapasok sa top 3 but when the judge announced it... sobrang unexpected talaga at hindi kami makapaniwala.

Babalik po kami nang mas-prepared at ng mas may malinis na performance soon po.
