On this day, 𝐀𝐥𝐩𝐡𝐚 𝐏𝐡𝐢 𝐎𝐦𝐞𝐠𝐚 - 𝐏𝐢 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐫 takes part in the 𝟰𝟬𝘁𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝗗𝗦𝗔 𝗣𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗣𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, when ordinary Filipinos united with determination and peaceful resolve to reclaim freedom and democracy. Today, we honor the heroes whose unwavering spirit changed the course of our nation and continues to inspire generations. May their example remind us to cherish our democracy, stand for justice, and work hand in hand for a brighter, united Philippines.

Today, we honor the life, works, and legacy of 𝐃𝐫. 𝐉𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐑𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐥, whose 𝙘𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙜𝙚, 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙚𝙘𝙩, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 continue to inspire generations of Filipinos.

As we celebrate this season of joy, we are reminded that Christmas is more than just a holiday—it is a time to reflect on the values that unite us as brothers and sisters. The spirit of 𝑳𝒆𝒂𝒅𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒑, 𝑭𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒑, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑺𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒊𝒄𝒆 shines brighter when we choose kindness, compassion, and selfless service to others.

May this season fill our hearts with gratitude, strengthen the bonds we share, and inspire us to continue serving our communities with love and purpose. May we carry the light of Christmas beyond the season and into everything we do.

LOOK: The UST Central Student Council, in collaboration with the Department of Transportation, will offer concessionary Beep cards at the Tan Yan Kee Student Center from Nov. 13 to 15.

The program is open to UST students, academic and support staff, administrators, PWDs, senior citizens, and UST Hospital employees.
